I know this is a few days early but I wanted to get this on here before the work week begins. Madi wanted to sing Grammy D happy birthday because Debbie unfortunately has the misfortune of spending her birthday this year assigned to jury duty out of town. Just in case we don't get to speak to you because of it here is your song!!! We love you.

Play day
Madi, Sam, Lee Lee and Dakota
Yesterday we went to the park while the boys were off fishing. It was a beautiful day and the kids had a great time. Madison loved the rock climbing wall. I was a little nervous at first but after she got the hang of it there was no stopping her.
Silly Madi
Look at those toes!
Crab Girl!
Here are a couple silly shots of Madison. The other night she must have been having quite the party in her bed...I thought her toes peeking off the side were too cute to pass up the photo!!!

Pottery Painting
Look at that consentration!!!
Today we got out of the house to keep ourselves busy on a rainy day and to keep our minds off of Pappa and Grammy leaving. We found a pottery painting place and decided to give it a try. Madison picked out a puppy "piggy bank" for her money and Travis and I painted coffee mugs. Madison was very creative and named her puppy bank "Fluffy" and had me write his name across his belly. She did not fully understand why she could not take the puppy with her and kept saying "I miss you fluffy puppy" on the way home. The people there were so nice and let her bead her own bracelet before we left so that she would have something to leave with.
Bitter sweet trip in town
I love my Papa!
I love my Grammy too!!!
Pappa's new makeover
Madi's makeover
Blowing in the wind....
This weekend Mom and Mark came in town. It originally was for Madi's surgery but since that was cancelled it was a nice two days to see Mark before he leaves for Qatar for a two year contract assignment. We had a great time just hanging out spending good family time. It was hard to say good bye and it definitely was a tearful one to say the least. I have gotten spoiled to finally have family within driving distance since they moved full time to Amelia Island. Now that we are "back on our own" a sense of loneliness has already set in and they are not even gone yet. We love you Mister Mark!!!!!!
Mother Nature at her best!
Sunrise
Sunset
We have had beautiful sunrise and sunsets lately. I had to get a few good shots in and here were the best two.
Future Firefighter
Madi and I stopped in to say hello to Dad at work and also to have free run of the fire truck and rescue. As usual Madi had a blast!

A day on the lake
We were surprised and excited when our neighbors dad told us he has not used his boat in years and we could now have it docked at our house and use it. All we needed to do was buy a battery and a life jacket for Madison. Today was our first day with it and we took it out for a spin. I was the lucky fisherman and caught the only two fish. Small...but at least I caught something. Madison thought it was awesome and dad let her help drive. The wind started to pick up and we got blown to the side and had grass tangled in our motor but it was a blast. We all cant wait to have more family outings in the boat.
Another BIG Catch!
Sunday night I came home from the grocery store to Madison screaming "Mom...come quick there is a big fish in the grass"!!! Travis had caught another big one!!!
