Last day of 3K

Friday was the last day of school for Madison and I went to her class for the morning for pizza and a movie. She is very excited that after the summer she will be a "big K-4 kid"....for the record...she did her own hair!

Madi's 4th Birthday Party

Today was Madison's birthday party here at the house. Our friends next door were nice enough to let us use their new water slide and the kids had a blast! Our friend Rose down the street did an AWESOME job and made the cake for the party. All the kids had a great time and the adults enjoyed chatting. The day was a success!!

Yesterday was Madison's fourth birthday. I still am having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that she is 4. Time has gone by so fast! Because Travis worked on her birthday we did not have a party until today. So, Madi and I hung out in the yard with our neighbors playing in the water and on their new water slide. After dinner we had cupcakes to celebrate!

Last weekend Travis' dad came into town for a short visit. It was awesome to see him and Madi was very excited. She has not seen him in over a year. His time here came and went too quickly for my taste (I love when any family is here). Because he would not be here for her birthday he got her a new "big girl" bike because her legs are so long she has quickly outgrown her old one!

Today Madi and Travis gave me my birthday card a day early. My heart melted because it is the first card where Madison can write "mom" clearly and she now almost has her name down pat! I thought I would share.....

Today Madi and I went to Miami for Carla's graduation from Barry University with the Bilbao's. We are very proud of you Carla!!!!
