Last night was our Christmas block party. We had snow delivered for the kids. Hey...you have to import the winter in south Florida! Everyone including the parents got in on the fun. We had tons of food, drinks and a fire pit going for smores. Travis decked out the golf cart with garland and Christmas lights and stole my wreath from the front door.

I wish packing was this easy! We leave for California tomorrow for a week. We are very excited to spend the holidays there. Now if I can only get packed for real!

Today was Madi's class party. I went in and did crafts with the class. We made Christmas tree pine cones that Madi and I had collected from around the neighborhood, snowman door hangers out of popsicle sticks and photo ornaments for parents. Her teacher did a raffle in the class for a gingerbread house and Madison won! She was so excited. Her teacher had books wrapped for all the kids and candy canes. We finished off the day with the old fashion Rudolf movie, cupcakes, ice cream and cookies.

Ho Ho Ho

Madison had her school Christmas concert on Tuesday. She did great and was so excited that we all were there. Liam seems to be loving the whole Christmas thing and is ever so patiently trying to get at the ornaments behind the gate. BEST INVESTMENT!!!!

We went this past weekend to Orlando to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Dad treated us to the weekend and unfortunately he was not able to make it. As they say...the show must go on. Marielle drove down from Charleston and we had a fantastic weekend despite the cold and the rain Friday. Liam got to go on all the rides in Neverland (Small World, Peter Pan etc.) and Madi went on ALL the big roller coasters like space mountain,thunder mountain and pirates of the Caribbean. There were no crowds Friday night so we went on all at least twice. We were set to go to Animal Kingdom on Saturday but the temp dropped and it was still a little rainy in the morning so we opted to save our tickets for another day since we are only 2 hours away. Madi was freezing and Liams poor lips turned blue as you can see up above and he was physically shivering :( We hung out at downtown Disney for the day and then on Sunday before we hit the road for home we met up with the Bilbao's for a bit. We hope to do it again next year!
