Cool site
One of the blogs I follow mentioned this site and I went on and gave it a try. It turns your traditional photos into vintage photos. I thought this picture was precious and it looks pretty sweet in vintage. This is probably how Madison will be viewing this picture when she is our age just as we look back now on our old photos as bambinos :)

33 Week appointments
Well today I went for my 33 week appointment. In true fashion it was not without drama! My blood pressure when I got there was high again (150/80) so they had me lay down with the lights off for about 10 minutes and took it again. It dropped down to normal so they were happy as was I as this meant I did not have to go to the hospital. I did explain to them that I have been experiencing some pretty bad cramps the past two days as well as swelling in my hands. They did a swab to test for an infection and put me on antibiotics again. Cervix is still closed which is a great sign. Baby's heart beat is very strong and I did not even gain weight over the last two weeks! I hate seeing the scale jump 2 or 3 pounds every two weeks but this time it stayed the same. I know it is to be expected but every pound counts when trying to reverse the process in a few weeks :) I go back on March 10th so.....to be continued.
Madison insisted on knowing what I was writing about and after finding out she needed to post her thoughts on the entire situation: )As an FYI...hidden messages in there...look close and you can see the words she can now spell from memory. She came home tonight very proud of herself that she can spell "at" words from memory. Now if we can only work on not writing our numbers backwards.....Mark where are you when we need you :))

It's starting to come together!
This weekend we have made a lot of progress on the baby room and other items. We picked up Madison's old crib again and got it set up in the room. It is starting to look like a real baby room with it in there. Our friend also gave us other things that we could not be more thrilled about. We got a pack and play that has the bassinet in it which Madison has asked us not to break down as her babies are now sleeping in it, she gave us an entire stroller travel system that is brand new equipped with car seat and base as well as a bumbo seat. Exciting to see everything come together! Madison also helped me today build a 9 cube cabinet for the baby room that has expandable cubes in it for storage as we do not have a closet. Once we get the new computer desk and move this one out of the room I will post pictures of the complete room!!!

Madison's first soccer game
Madison had her first soccer game today. She had a great time and for the most part did well. We still have to work on the paying attention bit. At one point the coach caught her wondering around and picked her up swinging her back into place (picture above). I think she had a great time because for the first time in a very long time...the "horns of excitement" came out. For those of you who know, she used to do this when she was a little when she got very excited. She kept begging the coach to be the goalie so he gave her a shot. Did not work out to well as the goal is in sand and she thought it was more fun to play in the sand then pay attention to when a ball would come her way. Either way it was fun to watch! We look forward to more.

Dress up???
SUPER SIBLING!!
What a face :(
Got formula???
Today was Madi's super sibling class. She had a great time and learned a lot about being a big sister. They took her to the nursery and she got to see a real baby, the rooms I will be staying in, learned how to put on a diaper and they even gave formula out to see if they wanted a taste. Madison started gagging after one sniff and refused to try it...I cant say I blame her. She also had to make a wish list of what she would like to do special while mommy was in the hospital. If you cant read it above she wants to go on a bike ride, go to the movies and make cookies. Her biggest concern was who she will be with while I am in the hospital. I had to explain that Grammy would be here hopefully in time but if not she would stay with friends.
Please don't laugh!
While at Lisa's today I had her give a shot at her first prego belly pics. While I am the first to say I am not a fan of my belly...I wanted to have a memento of this time in our lives later down the road. I do look back and say I only have 1 picture of me pregnant with Madison. Here are two pics from today after A LOT of touch up :)
Valentine fun

Where is Madison????
UNDER ALL THE COVERS!!! Yes, it is officially FREEZING here in Florida. I am not complaining by any means as I love this weather and take it when I can get it. Our Florida girl on the other hand is not so happy about it. This is how we have found her in the morning. 29 degrees at our house this morning and on my way to work I actually saw ice cycles hanging from palm tress that were by near by sprinklers running. I wanted to turn around and get my camera but I would have been late for work. I ended up coming home early today because I am coming down with a fast onset of a cold and needed to close my eyes. My head is stopped up. I did just take sutafed compliments of Jennifer in hopes to be able to breathe!

30 Weeks!
Everyone that knows we have been working on the room has been asking for pictures. Sunday we finished (yes, computer desk will be removed)! Paint is done, fan #2(first one was defective and almost caught fire) and curtains are hung. The only things left are the rug we ordered to be delivered, the crib to come (We will have by the end of the month...Madi's crib that a friend is borrowing) and then the BABY to arrive...which brings me at my next point...30 WEEKS!!!
This is very scary to me as time has flown by. We get weekly update e-mails from a baby web site and it lets us know "whats going on this week". Today I read it and one thing in particular made things surreal besides the fact that they say he is 3 lbs now. The statement went something like this; you have now reached single digits until he is born. SINGLE DIGITS! For those of you who know us know that Madison was born 3 weeks early (36 weeks). This means that if baby brother wants to follow in big sisters footsteps....we only have 6 weeks left! If he decides to grace us with his presence at the 40 week mark we have 9 weeks left. Both exciting but unnerving at the same time.
I cant wait to meet him and have him bring our lives joy but at the same time nerves are rising about managing two kids. Yes, people do it every day but it is new to us. I feel like there is so much more to do to get ready. I am trying to complete as many school assignments as I can before the delivery, I start my internship next week, Madison has started soccer, we are going to have the baby shower on March 7th, doors need to be hung in the baby's room, I need to get the carpets and grout cleaned....etc...etc....etc. No one wants to hear me ramble but I feel like thats all I can do at this point.
As a final thought...I hear there are bet on my side of the family on if I can keep his name a secret as I have never been able to keep a secret before. Well, the challenge is on!!! To up the challenge to everyone we will now place a friendly wager on who guesses the correct name before he is born as well as who can get the closest to the weight. The prize will be determined at a later date. GAME ON!!!!
