Our new toy

We bought a golf cart from some friends of ours a few days ago. We have been throwing around the idea because for one...they are fun for us and Madi. And two we have the perfect neighborhood to go riding around and for Travis to drive it around with his fishing gear to the different lakes and canals in the area. It was spray painted blue so we think we may go with a "Rams" theme and call it "The Ram". We were lucky to have Travis' friend be here yesterday and he pressure washed it and even told us how to get the over spray off the vinyl seats.

Today I have been getting the house ready for Debbie and Wayne to arrive. Madi was laying watching TV and I could not stop staring at her long lashes. People pay to have long lashes like hers. Meanwhile...Liam and the white bear became friends. He was talking away to it and ended up tackling it instead of sitting by the bear.

These are Madi's new school shoes compliments of Grandpa. He wish was to get a pair of twinkle toes by Sketchers but we found out that they are narrow shoes and foot is certainly not! She got these Vans instead. Her and I spent about 20 minutes yesterday working on tying and she has it down! She is very proud of herself!

This weekend Dad came down and spent 4 days with us. It was his first time meeting Liam and the two hit it off! In the picture above Liam is in his new walker, compliments of Dad but is still about 1 inch too short but is sure to be a perfect fit in no time at all and will be whipping around the house.

Yesterday I told Madi we were going to the fire station. She immediately jumped into the bath to wash her hair. She came out and asked if she could blow dry her hair all by herself. She then proceeded to put lotion and deodorant on, and then topped things off by painting her nails! Man....are we in trouble!

Morning conversation

Liam loves to talk up a storm every morning. It is almost as if hr is telling us about his dreams. He got so loud this morning that Madi could hear him from her room behind closed doors!

William Patrick

Last week "Little Billy" was born (Son of Jennifer's sister Tracy). He was 13 weeks early weighing in at only 1lb 12oz and was 9 1/4 inches long. We drove up to Orlando yesterday to see him and Tracy. It truly was a miracle to see a baby this small in person and brings a whole new meaning to the term "miracle baby". It was amazing to see how his vitals would increase when she touched him and how he responded to her touch. In the next few weeks they are hoping to let her begin the "Kangaroo hold" program where she rocks him on her chest wrapped up skin to skin. He is doing well and so is Tracy despite her being discharged today. The problem they face now is the commute back and forth to see him as he is in Orlando and they live down here. We are praying for them all and hoping the Ronald McDonald house will have an opening for her soon. This morning they found a pretty large murmur and have scheduled him for heart surgery later this week. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers!

The other day while on the phone with Grammy D, Liam looked at me, sat up straight and sat up. He was laying in the boppy. I could not believe it! He still looks like a baby monkey leaning forward but he is trying!

Yesterday Madi and I met the Bilbao's at the beach. We encountered a down pour (above) and then beautiful weather. They are dredging the inlet and the blowfish must have gotten blown out but we rescued it and released it back in the water. We found tons of beautiful shells as well!
