Our day on Singer Island

Today was an awesome day spent on Singer Isalnd. We headed over there for a change of scenery and ate lunch at the Sailfish Marina. Grammy and Papa and I had taken Madison there when she was only a week old and I had not been back so I thought it would be nice. Lunch was fantastic and the Pina Colada was the best I have ever had....so I had two!! The water in the marina was crystal clear and there were tons of cajun jacks swimming everywhere. We got to watch one of the head boats that had come in clean thier catch and Travis bought Madison fish (shiners) to feed the jacks. We did run into some major issues when all the pellicans stared charging her. I tred to catch some pictures of her feeding the fish but she was screaming and runing the whole time! We did a little window shopping and then headed down the road to the south side of the island to walk along the jetties. Once we reached the beach we were pleasantly suprised by the amount of shells there were. Our pockets were stuffed with all the shells Madi needed to take with her. One lady was very nice and came over and gave her a nautalis shell the size of my palm that she had found. The water was freezing but it was a beautiful shade of blue. Today made us realize we need to slow down in life and go enjoy more days like these as a family.
