ADULT NIGHT!!!!!
We headed out to South Carolina (Isle of Palms) on the 25th of June. We made a pit stop at moms place (even though she was not there :( ) and let the kids swim a bit to tire them out for the second half of the drive. It worked out AWESOME! It was just what not only they needed but us as well. It worked out great because some friends that we only see int he summer (they live in North Carolina)were there. After a brief visit we headed north! We had a great time. We did the beach thing...however it did not turn out as planned. We found out that Liam is freaked out/terrified...whatever you want to call it of beach sand! Go figure! Him acting this way did not allow us to stay too long during the day. We got an opportunity to have an "adults night out" which was great. We went to Downtown Charleston for dinner and drinks. On the way to Georgia we went through Columbia so that Travis and the kids (Madi) could see where I grew up and the house we grew up in. It brought tears to my eyes to see it looking so nice. Hands down it has been the best house I have ever lived in. We went by the schools I went to and had lunch before leaving. It was great being in South Carolina again!!!
